Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity believes every seriously ill child should have the best possible healthcare
We believe every child with a serious illness in the UK should have access to the knowledge, skills and experience required to meet their healthcare needs, no matter where they live. That’s why we create and fund specialist nursing posts within the NHS across the UK. It is essential that children’s nurses across the UK are fully supported to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver the best care possible. That’s why we provide professional support to our Roald Dahl nurses to enhance their skills and foster innovation to improve services for seriously ill children.
Miracle Babies Foundation is Australia’s leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.
Every year in Australia, 48,000 newborn babies require the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN). 27,000 of these babies are born premature and up to 1,000 babies lose their fight for life.
The Children's Tumour Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing information, resources and support services to children, their families and adults living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2 and schwannomatosis.
CTF also raises funds to support promising medical research aimed at finding new treatments and ultimately a cure for NF.
